Portfolio
You will create a website using Weebly, Wix, or a different website builder if you're more comfortable with one already. You will use this site to continually share updates of your work and post your projects.

You will be able to keep and maintain this site and use it as part of your submission for colleges and future jobs. It is also a neat memento.
Portfolios MUST include:
1. Home Page
-
this page welcomes the visitor with a description of the site--- an overview/paragraph about the use of the personal portfolio (what class, what year, --- look at the mission above)
2. About Page
-
Describe yourself - hobbies, interests, art interests (painting, photography, etc..), short biography.
-
Contact info (optional) – ex) social media and email
-
(life tip: always keep art and personal social media separate!)
-
-
Personal photos (optional)
3. Portfolio Pages
-
One “Portfolio” page to act as a launchpad/Table of Contents to the individual project pages.
-
You may want a different “Portfolio” page per class e.g., if you are in both Media Design and Graphic Production
-
-
A unique page for each completed project, which must include:
-
a description (title, year completed, medium used – ex, Photoshop, Stop-Motion, etc...)
-
images:
-
Your initial sketch(es) and/or moodboard
-
2+ in-progress screenshots [CTRL+SHIFT+S]
-
TIP: Take a screenshot of your progress at the end of each class.
-
-
Your finished project (if it’s a video, you can upload to YouTube and embed it)
-
-
A reflection paragraph discussing the project:
-
What materials and steps/procedure(s) did you use to finish the project?
-
What was the most challenging part of this project?
-
What are you most proud to have accomplished?
-
Given infinite time and energy, what would you like to change?
-
What insight(s) did you gain from peer feedback?
-
What is your next learning goal?
-
-
Check your assignment's instructions for details! There may be specific things that need to go on its portfolio page!
-

-
*Don’t want to write? Embed a YouTube video of you speaking about your artwork!
-
**Use the app GRAMMERLY or the HEMINGWAY APP to copy/paste your paragraphs for free editing and suggestions! Writing concisely (all the meaning in as few words as possible) is a valuable skill.
